That Venetian stencil can do more than what you see!   Of course, it is awesome just as it is but it can be so much more than that!   There are wonderful elements inside these buildings that can be customized and transformed to fit your play.  Check out the video and I’ll show you how!

Watch Using parts of stencil inspired by Venice  on YouTube.

Make the towers as tall as you want.

Make as many towers as you want.

Add a stripe of color and pattern anywhere you want.

It most certainly can be as long as you want and as wide as you want!

Stack the ovals on the stencil together for a whole new look!

And yes, there is no limit to how many ovals you can stencil so it can be whatever you need!

I love your new stencils Carolyn, and way to go to separate the parts instead of using the whole in one!

Another fabulous design Carolyn! I love what you’ve done with this stencil. As you say, there are so many things that can be done with all the various elements within these incredible stencil designs. Love your colours too!

Fantastic idea of using parts of a stencil and changing them by adding, I will look at my stencil differently from now.

I could listen to your voice all day…..and sometimes I think I do ;-} (with some of your on line classes)! You have a way of taking all the ‘fear of failure’ completely out of the process…….Do you have any workshops ‘in person’ in the next 6 months or so? I bet you’re a hoot to work with!!!

    • Carolyn Dube February 23, 2014, 6:47 pm

That’s my goal Jackie to take the fear out of it!! In person I will be in AZ in April, the Cincinnati area in August and Stamford CT in October. Love to have you come and play!

Carolyn, Carolyn, Carolyn….another wonderful and inspiring video. I’m so glad you enjoy doing them because I so enjoy watching them. I try not to get too bogged down by watching instead of doing, but you ARE my go-to girl when I am trying to figure out why my stenciling is not looking like I want. So thanks for helping a girl out by making these videos. And I love your attitude that an oops is just an opportunity to try something else. Do you have any idea how much that helps a control freak like me? LOL. It seems like forever ago that I ran into you and we chatted at Stampaway. Maybe I’ll get the chance to do a workshop with you sooner or later. Woudn’t that be nice? Thanks again. Have a great day. :o)
