I’m so excited that in just a few weeks I will be teaching 2 workshops at Artiscape in Columbus, OH. As I’m finalizing the class handouts, I am getting more and more excited because I can’t wait to share and play in person!
The stenciling workshop is sold out but there are some spaces left in the Magically Marbled Papers.
Here are some of my latest marbling adventures and we’ll be doing all of these and more on Friday, April10th in Columbus, OH. Hope to see you there!
Would the 6″ round Gelli Plate be much different than the big one? I wondered…I wasn’t sure until I played with it. It is different! The size feels so different than the 8″ plate. And thanks to the size, what I could do with it in my art journal blew my mind. Take a peek at the video for all it can do from masking, to letting me change my mind, to getting different looks from stencils….words don’t do it justice. It was magic!
I removed some of the paint with deli paper and have fallen in love with the round Gelli Plate because of how it works with a stencil too. Round totally changes the look of my Verbage stencil and it is so quick to stencil with it.
In my head, I thought I’d be happy with just the black and yellow….what was I thinking? I needed more color! But it was so easy to add another color without getting it on the yellow and still have a great circle shape. How- the Gelli Plate! I put it right back on top of the yellow and painted around it!
The plan was to make the Colorful Gelli Print Party video that comes out on the first of the month, but I had so much fun I just had to share or I was going to burst. I couldn’t wait so I had to make a 2nd video for April’s Party! And I fell in love with a little guy that showed up.
In fact, it is torture for me to wait until the first to share that video with you! You don’t want to miss that one. To all my newsletter friends, you don’t have to worry about remembering. I’ll have it in a newsletter for you. Not one of my newsletter friends yet? No problem -everyone is welcome –just click here to sign up.
