New Stamps Bring Me Joy!

My kids wondered why I was so happy- it was because of the mail.  Not any  mail but the package filled with Tangie Baxter’s new rubber stamps.  I’m a huge fan of her digital goodies at Scrapbookgraphics.com so when I saw she was making stamps I had to buy them.  Here is the first one I played with and created the background for this journal page. Click on the picture and you can see all 5 sets.

I was in a quandry- do I use it as a whole sheet or cut it apart for individual stamps?  I decided to play with the whole sheet first.  The video shows this page from start to finish.  The mysterious man stencil is from the spraypaintstencils.com.

I was in silly mood when I finished this page, in case you weren’t sure.  Just wish the fun I was having had translated into better handwriting.  Still don’t like my handwriting… but I love these circle stamps!

What a fun page! Love how you played with the whole sheet and built up your background. That man is very cool and looks awesome in the dark blues.

so fun! I loved hearing your voice on this. Love the men and what they’re thinking — are these inspired by Emma? Sounds like conversations I’ve had with Samy….

I totally understand your excitement about the mail, Carolyn! Been there; done that! I love the way you used the stencil for the background rather than cutting it up. I took a close look and, although I like them individually, I am afraid they might get lost on the page if done singly! Any, love the page you have created. I am from “the big city” and see rows and rows of people waiting in the morning for the bus or subway and your page immediately remind me of those people, each with his/her own random thoughts. I absolutely love it!

It was really nice to hear your voice. You are a natural at doing this. I really enjoy watching and now listening to you. The colors were great and I totally wish that I could plant some cheerios tonight and have donuts in the morning.
