I needed a birthday card and I just wanted to play in my studio.  So, how can I do both?  By making an oversized card myself!

I needed a birthday card and I just wanted to play in my studio so by making a card myself with deli paper, washi tape, and paint I did both along with a video too!

A great bonus of making the card, I was both happy when I made it and happy when I gave it.

I used things like Deli Paper and washi tape for this quick painted card.

Check out the video to see how easy it is to use Portfolio crayons with a stencil!

I used Portfolio crayons right through the stencil – love the imperfections that it created!  I will be using these crayons more with stencils.

I made a Pan Pastel tutorial video showing how I used part of a stencil to build a pattern

I’m playing with Orly Avineri’s Soft Bones stencil from StencilGirl, one of her  5 new stencils.  I’m not the only one playing – this is a blog hop!  With a giveaway too!

I made a Pan Pastel tutorial video showing how I used part of a stencil to build a pattern

PanPastels are a fast and easy way to build a pattern with a stencil because you don’t have to wait for a thing to dry.  Since I am patience impaired, I love that I don’t have to wait…

Check out the video where I show you how I used one part of the stencil Soft Bones with Phthalo Blue PanPastel.

I rarely seal PanPastels in my art journal but when I do, I use the Gelli Plate to do it. I’ve got a video showing how – Sealing PanPastels with a Gelli Plate .
