In Progress

Day 28 of Art Every Day Month already?  Where has the time gone?????  It has been a bit of a jumble around here – wonderful family visits, Black Friday shopping, and the chaos of life has led to lots of projects in the works.  I finally have my scanner set up in a place that makes it easy to use so now I can do more digital/print hybrid projects.  This is going to be very important with Christmas coming.  Here are a few sneak peeks of what I’ve been up to lately (from my scanner).    Things haven’t gone as planned for me  – life has  a way of doing that sometimes.  Does that ever happen to you?

    Texture! I love it.

I can’t believe we’re so close to the end of AEDM, either. But there’s a pile of paintings on my wall that says we’ve definitely been at it for a while…

Lovely colours and texture. These scans look really good! I’m forever fighting with our office scanner which is doing just a terrible job. Can’t believe it’s already Day 28 either!

The month sure has flown by….so close to the finish line now ~ 🙂

Your paintings are beautiful! LOVE the texture and colours!

OH yes, every time I make plans to create art, some life distraction will crop up to foil my plans. I honestly don’t know how I’ve managed it for every day this month so far.

    Happy AEDM,
    Serena 🙂

Wonderful work! I really like the middle picture with those beautiful greens and purples. The colours and textures are great in all of them!

Love the colors…and you’ve reminded me that I need to set up my scanner (thanks)!

Great scans of beautiful art! What type of scanner are you using for these? It will be a challenge for all of us from now until at least January, I would imagine. I really need to get better at allocating certain times of the day to work on art and stick with it no matter what – I get so frustrated with myself when the day ends and I haven’t accomplished anything. I have always been an all or nothing person and need to learn how to work in bits of time!

It is an Epson v700. I will miss the motivation that has come from AEDM – in Dec. I’ll have to muster up my own motivation.
