Hypnotized by Sand

Sand. Just plain old sand.  And I couldn’t stop looking at it!  The water was so calm, so blue, and the ripples on the ocean floor kept me hypnotized.   My kids thought I was a bit crazy, but that is nothing new!   So much that the backs of my legs fried because of how long I was snorkeling around.  At least on my virtual vacation here I don’t have to worry about the sun burn!

I am right there with you, digging the blues of the calm and tranquil ocean, and digging my feet into the sand. There’ve been many times – in fact, usually every time – where I too would just stare into the waters, into the rippling waves coming up to the shore, looking at the sand just below, and getting blissfully lost in the wonderment and beauty of it all…of how beautiful this planet is that we live on, and how we’re all connected to it, to each other, and to the universe. Yes – I can get very hypnotized by the serenity and tranquility and the beauty of it all.

Thanks so much for inviting us on this virtual vacation. I’m having a brilliant and beautiful time. Can we stay as long as we like, or at least, make a point to come back again and again? This is a wonderful idea, and I’m loving it!

Those sand ridges are quite beautiful – soft white smooth sand is the best on toes. xox

Everything about the ocean or any water with waves, for that matter, is mesmerizing to me. So, I’m with ya on that one. 🙂

Vinegar on a towel or in a lukewarm bath helps take the heat and sting out of a sunburn. 🙂
