Hitting that Wall with Gelli Prints

Video using gelli prints to make a brick wall

Outside of the studio, it had been one of those days filled with obstacles.  Ever had one of those?  I had hit the wall.  So I went into the studio to escape.  My mood followed me.  I was hitting the wall in there too.   So I decided if I was going to hit the wall it was at least going to have some color on it!   Another great reason to have a stash of Gelli prints…

You can watch Gelli print brick wall in an art journal on YouTube here.

Still time to enter 2 giveaways I have going on right now!

Love it! It so good to know other people hit a wall from time to time. My real life
has been busy and so my art has suffered. Thanks for sharing.

S.I.M.P.L.I.C.I.T.Y. It works wonders. Good for you for at least doing something. My brick walls often involve a magazine !

Hey, everyone needs a “get out of jail free” card. God knows you’ve been “ON” quite a bit lately. Good to take a easy art day for yourself. Love this idea of just cutting and playing. Great Gelli Cobblestones.

What do you know, you hit the wall and still inspired us big time! What a great way to use up Gelli Prints. I LOVE this! I am so inspired I probably won’t be able to sleep. hehe :0)

How serendipitous. I cut a foam stamp using the Cricut and one of the images from a cart (not without some difficulty LOL!) of a punching fist. I think it would be prefect “punching” thru the wall o’ prints. Lord knows I have amassed a ton of stray prints that cry out to be used up so I may just have to give it a go…..
