Thank you to everyone for such kind and supportive comments after my last post. I am feeling much better, have a plan for how I am going to meet my obligations AND a plan to keep from getting in this pickle again! Everyone’s comments brightened my day exponentially!
I have been having internet trouble so I apologize for the delay in getting the name of the stencil giveaway posted. Tammy Murdock is the winner of the 3 vintage stencils. I will be getting those out in the mail to her!
Yippeee! Thank you so much!
I was VP of a neighborhood association for several years and ended up doing everyone’s job because they either couldn’t or didn’t want to. I even took on a project (all by myself) when no one else wanted to touch it, that won national recognition and brought a super grant to my neighborhood. They didn’t even change a single word in my grant proposal. When the project was completed, they gave the honor to (and named it for) the most vocal opponent of the project.
I have no idea what hurt you, but I can truly relate. Like you, I felt betrayed. Needless to say, I no longer attend the monthly meetings or join in their annual events. My presents to them is my lack of presence!
Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day!!
Great to know that you are feeling better! 🙂 Both plans sound good.
