Come Play at Stampaway!

Rubber Stamping with Paint Workshop with Carolyn Dube

I’m teaching 3 mixed media workshops at Stampaway, and couldn’t be happier about it.  Why? The people I meet there are fantastic!  Second, the creative energy and excitement makes my soul happy! (and I always manage to do a bit of shopping there too!)

On Wednesday, August 5th, it’s Stamping with Paint.  Ever wondered how to use paint with rubber stamps?  I’ll share all I know about getting a clear image even with a detailed stamp, how to create an artsy watercolor look with paint, using multiple colors with ease on one stamp, and most importantly how to make clean up a snap!  Registration info here.

Stencil Discovery is on Friday, August 7th.  Have you seen stencils but aren’t sure how to use them or what they can do?  Then this workshop is for you!  Come and play with my stash of StencilGirl stencils as I guide you through techniques from building backgrounds, adding layers, and using a stencil for a focal image!  I’ll share with you how to get a crisp image and how to get an artsy loose image from the same stencil. Registration info here.

In Transform Your Tape Live on Friday, August 7th, 2015 we’ll be transforming plain tape into pieces of art by stamping, stenciling, collaging images and playing with color.  I’ll share my no fail tips and tricks as you make yards and yards of your own tape in this fast paced workshop. You’ll go home with your own roll (60 yards) of blank tape, a teflon mat and color PDF so you can keep on playing!  Registration info here.
