Let’s Play and a Hoarders Reality Check

Video sharing how I get over the urge to hoard supplies for the perfect project in this week's Let's Play link party!

The spring cleaning continues as I use my hoarding tendencies as a way to jump start my creativity for this week’s Let’s Play video and link party! I have all these paper badges that I bought to make a couple of travel albums for each of my kids. Some of the trips were a decade ago and I still haven’t made the albums.

Reality check…I’m not going to make them.  So I have challenged myself to Use it or Lose It!  Whatever I don’t use will have to be donated or if not donation worthy, trashed.  Crime! Crime! Crime!  I’m motivated to use them up.

I’m adding them to the journal I started in last week’s Let’s Play video.

In the video, you’ll see where I struggled to let go and play, where my inner hoarder was the loudest and how that one little sentence of Use it or Lose it came to my rescue!

Maybe you could package up a bunch of your “lose it” supplies and create a giveaway. You know what they say about another persons trash! …or would that be contrary to the whole idea?!

Thanks for sharing. I am a massive hoarder so this was the perfect topic for a ‘kick up the pants’ video – lol.

Oh wow! Thank you for sharing! I use to buy a lot of souvenirs when I travel but often they are closed in a drawer! So, I love how to use them to create an album! Great idea! I’ll try to create one! Thank you for the inspiration!

I like the one with Great Britain, My granddaughter just moved there today for 4 years ;( Her step daddy is in the Air Force and was stationed there. I’m happy and sad at the same time. She is going to get to enjoy, learn and experience so much culture. She is going to be about 10 when she returns. I love your videos and I’m getting ready to subscribe to your newsletter and YT channel. Thanks for the inspiration and your bubbliness. I’ve been described as an over bubbly person but you know what it beats walking around like your are sucking a lemon!
