Joyful Singing

We’re a family who loves music.  Absolutely no discernible  musical talent but what we lack in talent we make up for in enthusiasm.  Imagine 4 tone deaf people with one mom who can’t keep a beat or remember many of the words singing at the top of their lungs.  Sorry for such a painful image- that’s why we tend to sing only at home or in the car.  As off key as we are – it fills my soul with joy when we sing together- especially since the kids since songs from the ancient 80’s.  This journal page was the result of the residual feelings from a song or two.

I am in love with the floral stencil from Julie Balzer and Crafters Workshop.  It is so free and loose.  Do you ever find that you find something that isn’t what you’d usually buy but once you start using it you wonder how you lived without it?

Lovely, happy page. Music makes you happy. I used to sing a lot with the kids at school when we were being creative; they all sang in different sharps and flats but they had fun!!! Valerie
