Jack and the Beanstalk

A gelli print starts and guides an art journal page by Carolyn Dube

Jack, his magic beans, and the beanstalk all came to play in this art journal page that was sparked by a Gelli print!  I’m guesting over at Artists in Blogland today with a video of how this page developed. The beanstalk thing makes perfect sense in the video…well, maybe it just makes sense in my head…anyway, stop on over here and check it out!

Plus, there’s still time to get in on the drawing for the free spot in my latest workshop, Gelli Printing!  Details here on Friday’s giveaway.

  • Gorgeous!! Love the girl looking up! And I love the “magic beans as beginnings” idea–so cool!!

  • Love your colours Carolyn! And your videos, too – very inspiring. I enjoyed your “use your words” workshop and I’m looking forward to the gelli printing workshop. I love how much information, exploration and enthusiasm you pack into your videos. And how casual you are … like I’m sitting right there with you. Fun!
