Following Impulses for a Bit of Art Play

I'm following my impulses when I saw some dots on my paper - check out the video!

The impulse to play struck me so I decided to follow it instead of running errands. This is way more fun than dropping off the dry cleaning!  Just a few minutes with some Dylusions paints and I was lost in play.  Enjoy a chuckle while you watch the video…it felt like I solved a Rubix cube when I realized what white paint could do…truly a revolutionary discovery…not!

Hi Carolyn, I was put on to your blogs by an arty friend and I am so loving them I am sharing them with my other friends. I have found them inspiring and now have a gelli plate yippee. have made some paper and had lots of fun playing with colours in my first attempts and using stencils, I think I could be come addicted to stencils lol.

Great dots! I guess I will have to break down and order Dyan’s paints online as none of my stores carry them yet. 🙁

I am the queen or something of silly questions. Carolyn is that an entire glass filled with paint brushes and if so what kind?!

Also it appears that you may not clean your stencils but you do clean your studio. Hmm. And you do knitting!

Well…I keep my brushes when clean in jars with brush end up so they fit on a nearby shelf. I tend to buy cheap brushes- I have a whole hodge podge of them…and I collect yarns but I don’t knit at all. I just love yarn. I clean the studio from time to time just because I lose too many things if I don’t but if I had a big enough space I certainly would clean a whole lot less lol
