Wall of Words stencil by Carolyn Dube for StencilGirl ProductsPutting some shimmer with some flat matte color today for the Clearsnap and StencilGirl blog hop as I create and color a stencil resist!

Be on the lookout for one of my weird personal quirks as you watch the video.  I didn’t even realize it until I went back to do the voiceover.

Watch Using gel medium as a resist with a stencil and spray ink on YouTube.

Love how the matte of the Fireberry Colorbox Spritzer and the shimmer of the Mango Izink contrast!

Love that word stencil!! Maybe you should create a word stencil that contains all of “Your” words. Lol. TFS and for your wonderful vids.

Great design! I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your video. I learn a lot from watching you work and even better, you are one artists I enjoy listening to as well. Your narration is always so clear and not difficult to listen to. I like the way you picked out a word that went with the image and worked it into the project. You were having so much fun with the different mediums. It makes me want to give them a try.
Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent! 🙂

  • Lorraine Cooper January 14, 2019, 5:55 am

Hi, I saw you on YouTube and I just love the relaxed style of teaching that you have. I haven’t been doing mixed media long and my husband is clutching his wallet and thanking the good Lord that I haven’t done it for long or he would be bankrupt. I am visually impaired and I have MS amongst a few other items that could do with being put in the shop for a tune up lol, so I am now as blind as a bat and on wheels. Great Combo!
I was recommended at therapy to give it ago and instantly fell in love. So I began to watch everything I could on YouTube and then signed up for some lessons which is the best move I ever did, I don’t take as many pain meds as I did before because I get so absorbed in my art.
So please let me apologise for being wordy, I never miss a chance to use a paragraph when a word or two would suffice, after all I don’t get to talk to many people!
And my comment was just simply to saw
God Bless you and Thank you for making an Australian woman very happy.
I am going to see where I can join your lovely group and smile regularly.
    Hugs Lorraine x
