I have shared this video and some comments on Facebook, so please enter me in the drawing. I don’t Tweet (yet).

****What kind of paint did you use on top of the oil pastels?**** I definitely want to use this technique. Thanks for sharing your talents and ideas. BB

    • CarolynOctober 15, 2013, 1:28 am

It was black acrylic paint – maybe Golden or Dick Blick paint- can’t remember for sure…

  • RondaOctober 12, 2013, 12:34 am

im leaving a comment in hopes of winning but I have a question regarding the tutorial… I wanted to know please, do you need to use a fixative in order to use this with other mixed media like in or on a journal page? I do love the way this turns out thank you for the idea and the answer. Oh and the chance to win. Smilz

    • CarolynOctober 15, 2013, 1:30 am

I don’t use a fixative but you could- just a coat of gel medium or polymer gloss over the top and it would be sealed.

  • EnikoOctober 12, 2013, 2:13 am
