Paper Christmas Trees

I’m into Christmas – especially trees.  Now that all my trees are up at home I decided to make a canvas of trees.  This one is 18×24 and it came together faster than I ever imagined.  I’ve been making lots of papers – just experimenting so there was a nice stash of choices for making my trees.  Something unexpected happened while I was going through the papers – I used some of my absolute favorites that I had been saving for the “perfect” project.  You might have guessed that I am an art supply hoarder – we all know the perfect project rarely comes along.  Yeah- I might be letting go of perfect!!!!!

Yea for letting go of perfect–I had a little of that happen towards the end of AEDM myself…isn’t it a great feeling? Your trees and papers are wonderful–fantastic colors and patterns. Gotta go paint paper now…

  • So much fun! I love all the papers. I understand the art supply hoarding tendency – it’s something I have to fight too!

i wish i was a hoarder when it comes to art paper… what a great advantage to have a “nice stash” to play with! See? Hoarding is sometimes a good thing! 🙂
    Happy CED xoxo

  • So cheerful and lively.

  • These trees are absolutely beautiful! It was certainly worth saving the paper for them. But letting go of perfect is also a very good option : (I’m a bit of a hoarder to….)

  • Kim ,

These are so fun and colorful! What adhesive did you use to attach the trees to the canvas?
