I’m into Christmas – especially trees. Now that all my trees are up at home I decided to make a canvas of trees. This one is 18×24 and it came together faster than I ever imagined. I’ve been making lots of papers – just experimenting so there was a nice stash of choices for making my trees. Something unexpected happened while I was going through the papers – I used some of my absolute favorites that I had been saving for the “perfect” project. You might have guessed that I am an art supply hoarder – we all know the perfect project rarely comes along. Yeah- I might be letting go of perfect!!!!!
Wow. Really, really gorgeous. Love the background color. Love the pretty, pretty papers you made. LOVE the trees.

Yea for letting go of perfect–I had a little of that happen towards the end of AEDM myself…isn’t it a great feeling? Your trees and papers are wonderful–fantastic colors and patterns. Gotta go paint paper now…
this is SO much fun!! i hope you frame this? Or at least hang on your wall during the season! Lovely work.
i wish i was a hoarder when it comes to art paper… what a great advantage to have a “nice stash” to play with! See? Hoarding is sometimes a good thing! 🙂
Happy CED xoxo
These trees are absolutely beautiful! It was certainly worth saving the paper for them. But letting go of perfect is also a very good option : (I’m a bit of a hoarder to….)
Kim,
These are so fun and colorful! What adhesive did you use to attach the trees to the canvas?

I love this idea and these trees look so festive – may be borrowing this idea myself…..
They are beautiful! LOVE those trees! Valerie
So much fun! I love all the papers. I understand the art supply hoarding tendency – it’s something I have to fight too!
The papers are stunning. No wonder you were hoarding them.
Very cool!!! I may have to borrow the idea too for some Christmas cards…..Thanks for sharing!
From one hoarder to another…these trees are delightful!! Congrats for letting go! 😉
