Below is a quick 1 minute speedy art journal video. The pink and green paper was the inspiration for this page. When I started all I knew was it had to have that paper in it. The word connect was what popped into my head when I had those fabric letter stickers. I realized how important my art journaling is to me. I process so many feelings, good and bad in my journals.

I LOVE it but can hardly keep up. The tempo makes it so fun though. More, more!
Totally agree with Lesley up there–More, more!! =D Love the page and absolutely LOVE the video!! Those colors are just awesome.
lovely page Carolyn!
Carolyn,
I connected with your post to the point of feeling emotional. What you wrote about connecting to your art journal really got to me because that is the way I feel about my art. I escape into my art room and all of the stress from the day disappears.
I’m also intrigued by your blog because one of my new joys is mixed media. I will pour over your posts and learn from you. Thanks for sharing your talents!
Just saw your article in Somerset Studio about making decorative tape. Beautiful & interesting! I’m curious where you bought the “artist tape”, & if that is what it is always called. Could it also be called white masking tape? Your pieces are ever-so-colorful!!
Beautiful. I love the combination of pinks and greens….very uplifting!!!

YAY!!! You did it! I LOVED it! More, more, more…..I’m waiting!!!!! P.S. Beautiful page, love the color combo!
Great page and I loved the video!!! I feel the same way about my journal too.
so lovely to watch! I have a hard time with collage and have meaning to start an art journal for years to loosen up and collage away. You make it look fun and your resulting page is beautiful. Love the colors, and paper and that script stencil!
Thanks for this Carolyn, it’s great. Love the colours and the finished page.
Big love
AJ
Bright and fun journal cover–and I love the video!
Happy Thursday! 🙂 🙂
Beautiful page and awesome video. It´s great to be able to see your creative process and technical skills in action.
I noticed you stopped by my blog and decided to visit yours. Thank you for your comment. I like the tutorial on your post.
Also how long have you been art journaling? any advice for the novices out there?
What an inspiring journal page! All the different elements work so beautifully together. I like that there’s different textures and so many wonderful layers on the page!
This is such a pretty page, love these colors together. I need to use these colors on a page soon, never thought of mixing the two.
These textures and layers all make the page that much prettier. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your journal. It is awesome to have this creative outlet for us.
Have a good weekend and thanks so much for sharing.
love the colors and the whole page….. thanks for sharing
I love your fun and colorful page. Great video!
The video is just great, and the page is wonderful, love those two colours together. I’ve started my first an art journal less than a year ago, but I love it. For me it’s the place to try out things, just letting it flow, see what comes out of it, without that feeling that is has to be perfect, because I don’t have to show it to anyone if I don’t want to. The only downside is that it makes me neglect my canvas on the easel… Thanks for sharing your gorgeous art journal page!
Your video was great Carolyn. It is always so much fun to learn from you. And I am always learning from you. Thank you.
Fabulous! Love the fast pace and the bright colors…. a total pleasure to watch!
just wonderful! I love pink and green together!
