Confession time- I feel behind on my Christmas journal last year. So far behind, it was never finished. I took a great class from SherrieJD called Countdown to Christmas. She’s got an new one this year. Her classes are so full of videos and images – a fantastic value!!!!I made the journal but my inner critic was harsh as I made it and I was busy with so many other holiday plans that I let it sit with the crazy notion I would catch up after the holidays. Shocker, right? Now, a year later, I realize I have grown so much as an artist and person. I love this journal (what was I thinking last year?) and I am thrilled to be able to put 2011 into it!
Carolyn, I got a bit behind on reading your blog so have just been catching up, wow! you’ve been busy and creating wonderful stuff. I’m so pleased to resurrected your Christmas journal, it’s lovely.
Big love
AJ
Your inner critic is really really harsh because this is just amazing… beautiful and cool… so glad you are coming back to it because it is just going to be perefct by the time it is done!!!!!
Thanks for all the encouragement – I truly don’t know what my problem with it was last year- this year I love it. Perhaps it will be the same thing with the art I’ve done this year that I don’t like. Next year it will be my favorite…
I love your journal. You will have fun this season. It is a fantastic idea, I may even start one…

I love your journal too! I love the vintagey goodness going on, the colors and the excitement the images create!
Even though I don’t ‘do’ Christmas I can always use inspiration and encouragement. I’m going to go check out Sherrie’s website. Thanks!
It’s brilliant! It brings back thoughts of how Christmas should be, full of colour and life, not the frantic chaos of today 🙂
Love the vintage look…very sweet! 🙂
It looks wonderful, have fun filling it! Valerie
