Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all you want to do? Feel like you don’t have time to finish a project? I have. Then I just need to remember that a step forward, no matter how small, is step forward! I tend to take lots of vacation photos (2,000-4,000) a trip. Not all of them go into albums, but plenty do. Not surprisingly, I am behind on completing vacation albums. I used Tangie Baxter’s new release at Deviant Scrap, Thinking of Thee, to make 1 page for my vacation album. I am one page closer to finished!

I can’t draw. I tell myself that all the time. Well, I decided I should learn then. The best way to learn? Practice. Practice. Practice. While killing time in an airport I used my Ipad and an app (PhotoTracer) with my vacation photos to practice drawing. When I have tried to draw in the past I spend too much time in my head criticizing. When I have a photo to trace it takes all the thinking out and just lets me experience. I was able to see what a difference a few lines make to the image. How the windows show depth with the 2nd arch. This program doesn’t have an eraser (just a back button) so that kept me from going back and editing it to death. Maybe I can draw….

Why did I buy this paper? Did I ever love it? I will now! Add a little spray paint stenciling.
Add brown spray inks. When I wiped the ink off the spray painted area, the white popped & the old pattern got a new life.
