Inner Critic Be Gone

I can tell you all the things I don’t like about these journal pages.  I can bemoan my choice of marker color, my handwriting that makes me cringe, or my unedited writing on the pages.  OR I can tell that damn inner critic to jump in a lake, take a long walk off a short pier, well, you get the idea.  I’m telling that critic to shut up , sit down, and behave!  I can celebrate what I learned while doing these (color prompts rock!), that I tried different ideas, and so on.  I choose to celebrate.   These are two of the journal pages I did for the building a rainbow challenge over at Daisy Yellow.

  • Love the colors!! The background on the purple page is gorgeous–and that time to reorder tag is awesome! And I love the idea of finding the magic in the alarm–that phrase gives me lots to think about. 🙂

  • Your pages are sunshine and flowers – great! Valerie

  • Good! Tell that inner critic to be gone!! These are bright and beautiful. 🙂

  • Nigel ,

Wonderful pages, and I wouldn’t worry about your inner critic too much; you should hear mine when I start adding words to something!

  • These are beautiful. Inner Critic is crazy. She doesn’t know what’s she’s talking about. You are so right to ignore that (rhymes with…well, you know.) 🙂

  • Carol Samsel ,

Great pages!!! Love the color :0)

  • Let’s all agree to banish that nasty inner critic! Every once in awhile she has a legitimate complaint, but usually she’s just picky. 🙂 These are delightful and I really like your purple background.

    Great colors!

  • your inner critic is a bit of a cow I think…. she is probably drunk or something so I would just ignore her… these look pretty cool to me…xx
