I was full of feelings I didn’t really want. Logic told me to let them go but I was just holding on to them. To help me process the emotions I started scribbling my thoughts in gelatos on a big paper. Then I grabbed markers and scribbled more feelings. Then watercolor crayons. Then reinkers. It created wonderful graffiti layers and released my feelings. For me, writing it out has such an impact – so much more than talking or typing.
A layer of white paint pushed the layers back some while the gelatos and watercolor crayons subtly tinted the paint – just as emotions tint the way we see the world. I don’t have a plan for this so it will just go into my stash of background papers ready for when my muse drops in for a Diet Coke.
